The Alpha S3 Handkey unlocks and alarms Alpha S3 Spider Wrap and other Alpha products. Alpha security products include security tags, DVD/CD safers, spiderwraps, bottle-cap, bottle-wrap, and cablelok security tags.

The Alpha AM Mobile HandKey can be attached to a belt clip with a retractable lanyard (like the ones used for security passes), and is designed to be worn by employees who walk the shop floor assisting customers.

This Alpha S3 HandKey detacher has a built in Sensormatic-compatible acousto-magnetic (AM) sensor inside the HandKey that provides an added security benefit. If the Handkey passes through the Sensormatic AM security antennas it will activate the anti-theft alarm. This helps to ensure that shoplifters cannot bring detachers into your store.
